Take net, pure product is light yellow odorless oily liquid, specific gravity 1.05 (20 °C), boiling point greater than 90 °C (400 x 10Pa). It is soluble in methanol, n-hexane, ethyl acetate, toluene, octanol, xylene, and olive oil at 20°C. Its solubility in water is 25 mg/L at pH 4 and 4700 mg/L at pH 7.
